Our goal
Twenty years ago, in answer to the fervent prayers of many in Ukriane, the fires of evangelical revival began. Thousands of people were coming to Christ and hundreds of new churches were being opened. Questions of faith came to the forefront of people’s minds. But during the last 10 years the situation has changed. Our country began following European tendencies. Many people lost interest in religion and churches began to empty. The idols of the time have slowly become materialism and apathy. This new attitude has become a challenge for the church. It is often difficult to find relevant answers for the spiritual questions of contemporary society.
But even those who seem to be careless in relation to faith have a great need for Christ. In the words of Ecclesiastes, God has put eternity into our hearts. The greatest goal of every Christian, especially those in ministry, is to find ways through which the eternal truths of the Gospel can be told to our contemporaries. We need to be concerned about the preparation of God’s kingdom-workers, infusing them with a desire to reach people with the news of the Crucified Christ....and that’s what our goal is here at L’viv Theological Seminary. It is because of this goal that we have dedicated ourselves to this work for 10 years already.
Word to the undergraduates and those who are interested in applying
Many new ministry opportunities have developed since our contemporaries as well as people of other generations are desperately searching for truth. In our country many new churches, Christian organizations and publishing houses are being opened. Today the Lord is asking again: “who will go for us”? (Isaiah 6:8). I challenge you to listen to God’s voice. Maybe he is calling you. Do you want to serve the Lord? Do you have a serious intention to become a pastor, an evangelist or a missionary? Do you want to serve the Lord in the way He wants you to serve? If so, you need a solid preparation and education. You have a need not only in learning theory but also in practical skills. Theological education will help you to get started in ministry to people.
Lviv Theological Seminary wants to create all the needed conditions for intellectual and spiritual growth for Christians that want to dedicate their lives to building the Kingdom of God. We have all the recourses required for this. Our seminary stands on solid evangelical doctrine. It’s doors are open for all those who are willing to dedicate themselves for the ministry to the Lord and His Church.

Lviv Theological Seminary wants to create all the needed conditions for the intellectual and spiritual formation of Christians that want to dedicate themselves to the spreading of the Kingdom of God.
